One item we feature in the book is the ability that was just added to group your friends. To group your friends on Facebook, click on the Friends link at the top, then on the right, click “Make a New List”. Choose the name for the group you want to create, click on the new group, and then start adding friends!
Now that you’ve created a new group, click on “Share with Friends” up at the top of the “I’m on Facebook — Now What???” Facebook page. Now, start typing the name of the group you just created. Type in your personalized invite, hit send, and now your group of friends has been invited to become fans of the page!

I created a new group called Pace for Women. This is a group of Pace faculty, students, alumniand administation that support the formation of a women’s center. Facebook seems to limit who I can invite. They say that they have to be a member of the Pace network which had about 10,000 members. Why can’t I invite other people who are not members of the Pace network? Can I open this group that I created to everybody. This is confusing to me. You can e-mail me the response.

Barry,
Can you include a link to the group you’re trying to set up? I’d be happy to take a look at it to be sure you set it up correctly.
